Grocery Shopping Services
How to Inquire!
Please email us at explorelocalservices@gmail.com to inquire about availability for your scheduled arrival date along with the location of your Vacation Rental. Once we have confirmed that our grocery delivery service is avaialble, we will email you back confirming your scheduled service. We need to know a minimum of a 1 week in advance. Once you have received the confirmation email from us, please follow all the steps above. You will be invoiced, via Square, upon us receiving your order information from Wal-Mart.
Please take special note to our process on how to utilize this service prior to booking with us.
Step 1) How to order your grocceries…
– Visit WalMart via the link below; https://grocery.walmart.com/
-Once you have arrived at the site, Walmart will require you to create an account, in order to use their pick-up services and change the location setting. If you already have a Walmart account, you will need to go ahead and log into it.
Step 2) “Pick Up from Store”
-At the top left hand corner of the page you will see “Pick up From” then a store will be listed.
-Click on that and search the Zip Code 22801. Then find Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 1942 Port Republic Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 and click on it, to select that store.
*If your grocery order is not placed at this store for pick-up they will not be picked up and delivered to your vacation home. *
Step 3) Reserve your pick-up time.
-Next, to the left of the “Pickup From” tab, you will see where it says “Reserve your time.” Click there and select the day of your arrival and a pickup time from 9am-10am.
Step 4) Add groceries to your cart
-Now you are ready to add groceries into your cart!
-Please be aware that Walmart does require a $30 minimum to schedule an order for pick-up
-Once the WalMart order is placed, please forward the confirmation email from Walmart to us at explorelocalservices@gmail.com.
-Please include your name, address we are delivering to as well as your phone number incase we have any additional questions.
Step 5) Book your Explore Local Pick-Up Service
-Once you know the size of your grocery order, you will be able to successfully book with us for your pick-up service.
-Please note there are multiple fee choices for your convenience. Please select the correct fees and any add-on prices based on your grocery total so we may be adequately prepared for your needs (i.e. transportation, time, etc.).

ORDERS FROM $30-199: $65
ORDERS FROM $200-$399: $85
ORDERS FROM $400 AND UP: $100
